Providing that power – a hefty 4.6hp – is a Kawasaki FJ180V engine that’s specifically designed for commercial groundscare, and which features automatic compression release for practically effortless pull-starts. There’s an OHV formation for lower fuel costs and less noise; and a dual-element air filter for optimum component protection.

The WEIBANG Legacy 48 PRO LV Petrol Lawnmower’s professional-use credentials are numerous – you’ll get full, inner and outer deck protection; an industrial-quality, vacuum-sealed roller brackets; double ball-bearing wheel mounts; and a heat-treated roller-chain cover.

In addition, it’s built around an aluminium deck with a hammered paint finish, so it will resist corrosion for the duration of its lengthy working life.

The heavy-duty steel rear roller on the WEIBANG Legacy 48 PRO LV not only creates the stunning striped finish that’s so evocative of the British summer, it also works to keep the machine upright when mowing along the edge of flower borders and vegetable patches.

Single-point cutting-height selection – via a spring-assisted lever – makes adapting to the conditions simple; WEIBANG’s VRS Vibration Reduction System drastically reduces the amount of tiring juddering to which the hands and arms are exposed.

Thanks to its aerodynamic front fins, which enhance airflow, the WEIBANG Legacy 48 PRO LV excels in terms of collection, offering a thorough pick-up, and packing the spacious, 72-litre catcher to maximum capacity.

Many mowers can be difficult to find a space for, and hard to maintain – that’s not the case with this model, as the quick-release folding handlebars can be configured for upright storage, which also provides unfettered access to the under-deck area.

Further premium features include a friction-disc blade mount, which prevents costly – and potentially terminal – transmission damage, should the blade strike a solid, immovable object; and a robust bumper, which protects the machine’s front end from impact damage (the bumper doubles as a carry handle).

This self-propelled, three-speed machine has a 48cm cut – that’s ideal for areas up to 1500m2.
