Keeping your property ship-shape all year round by dealing with unwanted garden waste is less of a chore with the Hansa C4 petrol chipper. Whether you are carrying out your winter pruning, spring clean up or trimming back in summer, this solid yet lightweight chipper will handle all the demands of a domestic garden – including fibrous materials.

Designed and built in New Zealand by chipper specialist Hansa Products, the C4 is powered by a quality, easy-starting 163cc Honda GCX160 four-stroke engine with recoil start. A single V-belt drive between the engine and rotor provides smooth running and protects the engine against shock loads.

The C4 features robust steel housing which is media blasted prior to powder coating for complete adhesion and a durable finish. The infeed chute is designed with the operator in mind and has a 40mm branch diameter capacity. It includes a large opening and is angled at a comfortable working height to make the most of its self-feeding action. The cutting knives shear the fed material against an adjustable, hardened anvil with a scissor like action.

The draught action rotor allows the mulched material to be discharged directly from the outlet out to the side onto the ground. An optional debris bag is available for collection.

Blockages are uncommon, but should you need to clear the housing or access knives for servicing, the C4 petrol chipper is designed to open easily and safely with the removal of four bolts.

Thanks to a well-balanced design and built-in handles, large solid rubber wheels and low centre of gravity, the Hansa C4 is easy to move around between work sites.
